Become a Portland Children's Museum Volunteer or Intern

You know you're interested, so now how do you get involved?

1. Submit volunteer application available online or submit resume and a letter of interest to lyasuda@portlandcm.org.
2. If your skills, interests and/or availability match our needs, we'll contact you!
3. To learn more about our volunteer and intern program, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator. (contact info below)

We expect all our volunteers to:

1. Schedule an interview with the Volunteer Coordinator
2. Submit a volunteer application with a background check
3. Wear the Portland Children's Museum apron when working with visitors.
4. Uphold a time commitment.
5. Represent the Museum in a professional and positive manner.
6. Provide staff with proper notice of absence or resignation.
7. Be passionate about working with and for children!
